Dear Friends,

Today and Tomorrow

Two concerts will be presented with our 42 channel loudspeaker diffusion system Hydra.
This time we will have two invited composers:

Flo Menezes from Sao Paulo will present three multichannel works,
and 
Rand Steiger from UCSD will play his newest 32-channel composition.


The Boston-based soprano Tony Arnold has been collaborating with our live-electronics class this semester.
She will premiere four student compositions for voice and electronics, as well as Hans Tutschku’s new solo piece voice-unrooted.


Wednesday,  12/14 at 8 p.m.

- Multichannel works by Flo Menezes
- Students from the electroacoustic music classes will interpret their newest fixed-media electronic works
- Adi Snir presents a new live-electronic work
- US premiere of Hans Tutschku’s 16-channel composition remembering Japan - part 1


Thursday, 12/15 at 8 p.m.

- Multichannel works by Flo Menezes
- Tony Arnold premieres four live-electronic student works and Hans Tutschku’s voice-unrooted
- Students from the electroacoustic music classes will interpret their newest fixed-media electronic works
- Rand Steiger plays a new 32-channel fixed media composition
